About IWantFreeGames.com
Free browser games. No drama.
What We Built and Why
IWantFreeGames.com is a collection of free browser games and cognitive tests. Every game runs directly in your browser with no download, no app, and no account required.
We noticed that most reaction time and memory tests online were either buried inside bloated apps, required an account to save scores, or surrounded your game with so many ads and pop-ups that the experience was frustrating. We wanted something simpler. Open the site, play the game, see your score, beat it next time. That is the entire idea.
Your Privacy Matters
Every score you earn is saved in your browser's local storage only. Your personal bests, your streak count, your daily challenge completions: all of it stays on your device. We never send your scores to any server. We do not know who you are, and we do not need to. You can clear all stored data at any time from your browser settings.
The Games
Brain Games (live now): Reaction Time, Number Memory, Aim Trainer, Sequence Memory, Math Sprint, Stroop Test. Each includes a personal best tracker and global benchmark so you can see exactly where you stand.
Puzzle Games (coming soon): Logic puzzles, spatial reasoning, and pattern recognition games.
Word Games (coming soon): Daily word challenges and vocabulary games.
Who Plays Here
- Students testing their focus before exams
- Gamers warming up before ranked sessions
- Office workers taking a 3-minute brain break

- Anyone curious about how their brain performs compared to the global average
The Streak Mechanic
Play any game on any day and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets. We borrowed this from language learning apps because it works. A small streak number in the corner turns a single visit into a daily habit, which is how you actually track improvement over time.
The Blog
The blog covers the science behind the tests: what reaction time actually measures, what working memory is and why it matters, how aim training works, what the Stroop effect tells us about attention, and whether brain training apps actually do anything. All articles are evidence-based and link to the relevant free tests so you can benchmark yourself immediately.
Advertising
This site is supported by Google AdSense advertising. Ads appear on hub and blog pages. They do not appear during active gameplay, and there are no pop-ups, autoplay videos, or interstitial ads. The goal is to keep the site free while keeping the experience clean.
